This Flash postcode tool from Ben Fry is incredibly good fun to play with. Start typing your zip and it zooms from a map of the US to your zipcode with each entered digit.

  2. Well, I'll be! I just assumed flash was used since I can't remember the last Java Applet I saw which impressed me. Thanks for pointing that out. It's still a good tool though regardless of the language ;-)
