Adam Howitt is the sole owner of the information collected on this site. This policy describes the ways I collect and use this information. I reserve the right to change this policy.

Comments

To enter comments a user must first complete the registration form. During registration a user is required to give contact information (such as name and e-mail address). This information is for the user to receive updates about the posts on the site for which they have expressed interest. A user may enter fictitious contact information if they wish to protect their privacy. Users not wishing to divulge their email address in this manner may email the author Adam Howitt at adamhowitt@knowmysize.com to be kept updated on a thread. Users choosing to use their own email address will not have their email address shared on a multi-address, broadcast style email with updates. Instead, each user will receive a message addressed only to themselves.

Should a user wish to have their email address removed or their post removed after the fact, they can contact Adam Howitt at adamhowitt@knowmysize.com specifying the post date and the email address or name used in the comment to expediate the request.

Cookies

This site does not use cookies for any purpose.

Log Files

I use Internet Protocol (IP) computer addresses to analyze trends, administer the site, track users' movement on the site, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information.

Sharing

I will share aggregated demographic information with my partners and advertisers. This is not linked to any personal information that can identify any individual person. I may partner with another party to provide specific services like affiliate links. Affiliates may track the delivery of some of their image copy to evaluate my site usage and program effectiveness. RSS Feeds

If a user subscribes to the RSS feed they are responsible for managing that subscription in their RSS reader. I have no control over how the user's RSS reader accesses the site. Please note that when you subscribe to this site there are likely to be at most, 3 posts per day. To that end, please configure your RSS reader to pull the feed once per hour as the shortest interval.

Security

This website takes every precaution to protect our users' information. When users submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and off-line. I have no SSL certificate and as such, all submissions to this site are sent as clear text.

Correcting/Updating Personal Information

If a user's personally identifiable information changes, or if a user no longer desires our service, I will endeavor to provide a way to correct, update or remove that user's personal data provided to us.

Notification of Changes

I reserve the right to change my privacy policy. If I decide to change the privacy policy, I will post those changes prominently so our users are always aware of what information I collect, how I use it, and under what circumstances, if any, I disclose it. If at any point I decide to use personally identifiable information in a manner different from that stated at the time it was collected, I will notify users by way of an e-mail.
